Where'd I get this psychedelic name from?
It's a combination of my parent's names (Armella & Neal) mashed up together. It's always been a favorite of mine. I used to tell my mom I'm going to open up a store/shop and call it Armenea's. Armenea's actually started about 10 years ago, a small resell venture that didn't take off like I had hoped. It didn't have the name then, and also I was still learning all the ins and outs of an online business entity. Over the years I'd take breaks or stop working on building it up and of course with many bumps in the road, I eventually decided to take the plunge and focus on making Armenea's a reality.
So what's different now?
Well, I learned a few things. I realized I couldn't have a store or sell or anything really without a niche much to my chagrin. So once I got that understood, I also realized I needed to offer more than just one thing or service. Now I have inventory, we also have services we can provide. Having several different things going on and keeping them separated wasn't helping my situation or getting me past the obstacle of not being able to get Armenea's from just a dream into a sure enough reality. I also focused on having homemade items that work not just for me but for everybody. Armenea's isn't trying to be the next Amazon with one stop shopping. To offer a more smaller, quaint appeal that has a little bit of everything for everybody. Majority of the items sold will be handmade. To spice things up we will have a nice inventory of other items as well. As we continue to grow and gain clientele--new stuff will be added! Don't forget about the services that we have as well!
All in all, it's a nice online store that also has physical attributes. For right now there's no physical store (brick and mortar) but one day I hope that we can also achieve that as well.
